ANZAC

War / ANZAC
The soldiers ducked as the trench took fire.
Black smoke rose from the air “Chof” was all you could here.
Duf Duf Duf as they collapse.
Red blood on the field as the red flowers rise.

You move forward watching them suffer.
Postcards flying like the bombers zoom across.
Risking lives for plot of land.
Never questioning just moving forward.

Lying down not waking up .
dogs carrying food for the weak.
red paint everywhere.
always remember never forget the lives lost on April 25th 1915.
